The 67th Tokyo International Gift Show at Japan’s state-of-the-art Tokyo International Exhibition Centre closed on February 6. The event featured 1,500 stands from countries around the world, including Japan, China, Taiwan and Vietnam.

Twelve Vietnamese businesses joined the exhibition, displaying traditional handicrafts such as pottery, bamboo and wooden spades.

Vietnamese stands attracted great attention from visitors, particularly the Japanese. The country’s fine art and craft products have become increasingly favoured in the Japanese market, one of the demanding markets in the world, according to Lai Minh Bach, an official of the Vietnam Handicraft Exporters Association.
