“Legend Still Alive” and “Moon at the Bottom of the Well” shared the Silver Kite Award while “Untitled Love Story” received the consolation award for feature films.

After “Owl and Sparrow” took the prize for the movie with foreign cooperation, the five remaining films competed for the Golden Kite Awards 2008. However, none of them received the average mark of 9.1, the minimum point required for winning the Golden Kite Award. For one more year, the Golden Kite Award was not presented to any feature film.

“Legend Still Alive” and “Moon at the Bottom of the Well” shared 8.77 points and the Silver Kite Award while “Untitled Love Story” received the consolation award with 7.7 points.

Notably, most of the Golden Kite Awards for individuals of the feature movie category were presented to Vietnamese American artists. Only Hong Anh won the Best Leading Actress award.
