A photo exhibition aiming to raise funds for children with heart disease opens today at Ho Chi Minh City’s Himiko visual café.

Sac Mau (The color) “is an adventure of light and colors; of photography and painting” says artist Phan Quang.

Quang says all money from sales at the show will be donated to the three children suffering from heart disease in his Binh Dinh Province hometown in south-central Vietnam.

Phan Quang has been a contributing photo journalist for Sai Gon Tiep Thi magazine since January 2004.

He has won several awards in the field, including third prize at the News Photography awards in 2006 for his photo feature “Life is Still Going On.”

He also won second prize at Nha Dep magazine’s Best House Expression contest for his work “Dream House” in 2007.

Sac Mau will run until March 18 at Himiko, 324 Bis Dien Bien Phu Street, District 10.
