Mister International 2008 Nguyen Tien Doan will join the jury of the final night of Mr. Venezuela International on April 30.

The Vietnamese model and university lecturer will arrive in Venezuela on April 25. He will take photos with contestants and participate in some activities arranged by the Mister International organisation, as one of his duties as Mister International. Tien Doan appears in a trailer about the Mister Venezuela International.

Tien Doan said he was very proud because for the first time a Vietnamese is a member of a jury of a beauty contest in a country of beauty. He said he hoped that his presence in Venezuela would help advertise Vietnam and Vietnamese people to the world.

Tien Doan said he doesn’t have to worry or prepare much because the trip to Venezuela is being arranged very carefully by the Mister International organisation. He also said that he was not afraid of the difference in aesthetic concepts between Asian and Western people.

“I think beauty has no border. A handsome man needs to have a healthy, well-proportioned body, self-confident face, broad knowledge and a compassionate heart. I believe that I will do this job well,” he said.

The Mister Venezuela International pageant will take place from April 1 to 30, with similar contents to the Mister International contest. The winner will represent Venezuela at the Most Perfect Man on the Planet pageant this October.

Vietnam organised Manhunt 2006 to choose a candidate for the Manhunt International 2007 in South Korea. This year, Venus company planned to organise the Mister Vietnam International to find a representative for Vietnam at the Mister International 2009 but it has abandoned the plan because it couldn’t find a sponsor.
