Vietnam Autumn- Winter Fashion Week introduces 800 designs

Around 800 latest designs of autumn and winter 2009 by 28 domestic designers are on catwalk from last night to April 19 at Hanoi Deawoo Hotel.

This is the annual event called the Vietnam Autumn-Winter Fashion Week organised by the Vietnam Textile Corporation (Vinatex) and Vietnam Mode.

The fashion week attracted the participation of 16 designers from big textile companies of Viet Tien Garment, Hanoi Garment and Textile and Viet Thang Garment and also 12 freelance designers who have been known in the Vietnam fashion industry such as Quang Huy, Minh Hanh, Minh Hoa, Duc Hai, Xuan Thu and Viet Ha.

Designs are made on materials of the seasons such as leather, feather, felt and cotton. Cube and volume is still the main fashion trend of this autumn and winter.

Designers applied new and advanced technology to create new forms with diversified geometrical structures and contemporary decorations for their designs, keeping themselves integrated with the world fashion.

Last night introduced three collections by designers from Viet Tien company, featuring the casual wears for men with shorts and T shirt, luxury fashion for men with suits and shirts designed with Italian style and women’s fashion with dress and shirt and trousers.
