A student from the HCM City Architecture University, Ngoc Uyen, was presented the first prize in a lingerie design competition held by Triumph on May 20.

The first-prize winning product.

Besides the cup, Uyen received 25 million dong in cash. However, the most valuable prize for her is a trip to Milan, Italy to participate in Triumph’s international lingerie design contest in September.

Uyen said this year’s contest was difficult because competitors had to design lingerie based on an icon which has influenced multiple aspects of life.

Uyen’s product was called “Rolls Royce Phantom”. According to Uyen, this car model, inspired by ghosts of the Middle Ages, is mysterious, classical, luxurious and fine so it was a good icon for her creativeness.

The three winners.

The second-prize winner was Hoang Thuy Hong from Van Lang University, HCM City, with “Black Catwoman”.

The third prize went to Hoang Thi Minh Ngoc for “Van Gogh’s Sun Flower”.

This was the second “Creativeness with Triumph” competition for students held in Vietnam and the world. The winner of the international round will earn Eur15,000 and the winning product will be produced and distributed (limited edition) in the world. Last year, Vietnam’s Hoang Minh Ha went on to the international round.
