Online quiz on Hanoi launched for foreigners

| The Hanoi Union of Friendship Organizations is inviting foreigners and overseas Vietnamese to take part in this yearâs online multiple-choice contest on Hanoiâs historical milestones and its cultural heritages. |
| Titled âHanoi â“ Your Destination,â this is one of a series of annual contests that have been held since 2000, with a different topic each year, to celebrate the 1,000th anniversary of the capital city next year. This yearâs contest has âTowards the 1,000th Founding Anniversary of Thang Longâ as its topic. It includes six multiple-choice questions and one essay question for contestants to voice their opinions and suggest measures that would help preserve and uphold the cityâs historical and cultural values. The contest, launched Monday, has been organized in six languages: English, French, Russian, Chinese, Esperanto and Vietnamese. More details can be found at http://www.haufo.org.vn/data/thumoi_e.htm.
