Khanh Hoa gets nod for Miss Vietnam World Pageant

| Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Sinh Hung has assigned the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to direct the Khanh Hoa provincial Peopleâs Committee to organize the Miss Vietnam World 2009. |
| The event, set to take place in the central province later this year, will be the second such competition after the first was held in the provinceâs Vinpearl Land, Nha Trang in September 2007. Ngo Phuong Lan won the crown in the 2007 contest, which was jointly organized by Tien Phong newspaper, Thanh Nien newspaper, Vietnam Television Station and Vinpearl Tourism and Trading JSC.
