Vietnamese film distributor Megastar for the first time sent representatives, among them Miss Vietnam 2006 Mai Phuong Thuy, to attend the debut of the blockbuster sequel film “Transformer 2” in Tokyo, Japan from June 8-10.

The sequel “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” opens in the US on June 24 and in Vietnam on July 3.

Megastar said that this trip is a landmark for Vietnam’s film distribution industry and raises the position of Vietnam in the world film industry.

Thuy had a chance to interview the film’s director Michael Bay, who is now in Tokyo with leading actors Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox.

In Revenge of the Fallen, Starscream of the evil Deceptions, after flying to his base in outer space, comes back to the Earth with a reinforced army. At the same time, Megatron, the leader of the Deceptions, escapes from the US Army and seeks out the benevolent Autobots for revenge.
