Miss World 2008, Miss World 2006 and the newly-crowned Miss Indonesia attended a music show to raise funds for the Vu A Dinh scholarship foundation in the coastal city of Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa province on June 7.

Miss Indonesia 2009, who was crowned on June 5, has come to Vietnam with Miss World 2008 to attend the last stage of the “Charity Footprint 2009” programme. Her first activity was attending the music show in Nha Trang, which saw the presence of nearly ten Vietnamese music stars.

Between music performances, the organisers and beauty queens presented gifts, certificates of merit and scholarships to 200 poor students from central and Central Highlands provinces.

The music show raised more than 10 billion dong, equivalent to $588,000, from individuals and organisations, for the Vu A Dinh scholarship foundation.

On June 8, beauty queens will participate in a gala dinner, in which the Miss World Organization’s representative will announce the latest information about preparations for Miss World 2010 pageant in Vietnam.
