The Vietnam Book Distribution Company (Fahasa) and the French Consulate General in HCM City will organize the “Week for French Books” in HCM City from July 14-20.

The exhibition of French book opens today, July 14 at the Xuan Thu bookstore, HCM City.

The event will take place at the Xuan Thu bookstore, 185 Dong Khoi, District 1, to celebrate the French National Day (July 14).

This is the largest exhibition of French book so far, introducing over 2500 book titles of all fields, worth nearly 3 billion dong ($167,000). Many book titles are published by two famous publishers in France, Hachette and Interforum.

On this occasion, Fahasa will organize a contest entitled “Ask and Answer about France” for French speaking students. The book exhibition aims to develop the market for French books in Vietnam.
