Young sculptor Pham Minh Chien has gone to Alberta, Canada to participate in an international sculpture camp named “Wood, Fire and Stone”.

Meanwhile, two other Vietnamese sculptors, Tran Mai Quoc Khanh and Nguyen Hoai Huyen Vu, are about to go to Taiwan at the invitation of the Sanyi International Wood Art Festival. This event will be held in Miaoli town, Sanyi district, around 95km from Taipei, from July 27 to August 9.

The three above sculptors are members of the “Khong Gian Moi” (New Space) group.

Khong Gian Moi is a group of 20 sculptors, which was formed in 2007 in Ho Chi Minh City, led by Pham Minh Chien.
