Works by Vietnamese and French artists will be displayed on 500 meters of Ho Tram beach in the southern province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau from Sunday in an exhibition hosted by the Ho Tram Beach Resort and Spa.

Themed Bien va Bo (Sea and shore), the exhibit features art including installation paintings, sculptures and photos incorporated with other items such as boats and wooden wheels.

Around 40 Vietnamese artists including Le Trieu Dien and Nguyen Than from the Mekong

Art Club and Bui Hai Son will exhibit work at the beach along with three artists from France – Sandrine L’louquet, Bertrand Peret and Lucine Do.

The event was the inspiration of Ho Tram resort’s manager Cao Lap, who has also managed several other well-known tourist sites in Ho Chi Minh City.

The resort is noted for hosting the international kite festival in March with participation from more than 100 local and foreign artists.

The exhibition will run until August 31 at the resort in Phuoc Thuan Commune, Xuyen Moc District.
