| The Irish pop star, Ronan Keating, a member of the world famous Boyzone band, will arrive in Hanoi on September 18.
Keating will also sing at the ceremony.
Ronan Keating (born March 3, 1977) has had hits with the boy band, Boyzone, and also as a solo artist. He is one of two lead vocalists in Boyzone (with Stephen Gately). In October 2008, Ronan was entered into the Guinness Book of World Records for being the only artist ever to have 30 consecutive top 10 singles on the UK charts.
As a solo artist, Keating has clocked up a total of 14 UK top 10 singles as well as four UK Number One albums that sold nearly two and a half million copies worldwide. To date, Keating has released five solo albums, four of which went straight to number one in the UK. The singer has had two sold-out world tours, received Ivor Novello and BMI songwriting awards, published an autobiography, served as an ambassador for Christian Aid and sold in excess of 22 million albums across the globe.
Keating rejoined his Boyzone bandmates in 2008 on a 29-date reunion tour. Boyzone released their comeback single on 29 September 2008, entitled “Love You Anyway,” which was followed by a greatest hits album, released on 13 October 2008.
On May 9, 2007, Ronan Keating became the first international number-one selling foreign artist to perform a concert in the Cambodian capital of Phnom Penh.
