Nearly 150 photos are on display in a photo exhibition entitled “Hanoi today” at 29 Hang Bai, Hanoi.

Described as capturing “fine and interesting moments” they are all shots of the capital by professional photographers and were selected from 1319 shots by 151 artists from 16 provinces and cities.

Entitled “Hanoi Today” it’s the result of a photo contest held by the Hanoi Artistic Photography Association to celebrate the 999^th Hanoi anniversary and 55^th liberation day.

The top shot was judged to be Vu Quang Ngoc’s “Moment of Season Change” with the runner up being Le Trong Duc’s “Thang Long Spirit” and Tran Minh’s “Halou”.

Ta Hai, vice chairman of the Hanoi Artistic Photography Association, said it was a hard job for the organisers to choose the best photos for the exhibition from a huge number of submissions.
