From over 250 films produced by students around the world, the Hollywood International Film Festival for Students has selected 64 for screening, including “The 4th” from Vietnam.

The 20-minute film, “The 4th” is about a mystery related to the fourth floor of a house. The script and the movie were produced by a group of five students from the Raffles International College Vietnam in HCM City.

They are Do Khoa (director), Nhu Anh (editor), Uy Vu (music), Hoang Duy (magic) and Thang Khoa (design, communications) from the Interactive Media Design Faculty. The movie is also their work for the final exam.

Khoa said that actors in their movies are amateurs who are students from the HCM City University for Social Sciences and Humanity. The make-up artist was a student from the Raffle College.

The film crew has been invited to Hollywood to attend the show of their movie on November 7, 2009. However, as they will have to pay for the trip they are currently looking for sponsors.
