Director Dang Nhat Minh’s “Dung Dot” or “Don’t Burn” film attracted over 200 viewers at the Cantor Film Center in New York City on November 15.

John McAuliff, managing director of the New York-based Conciliation and Development Foundation, could not hold back tears. He cried and thanked director Dang Nhat Minh for “a movie about war that doesn’t have hatred, only love, the dream of peace and the brotherhood of soldiers..

Many people patiently raised their hand to ask questions of the film crew

American veterans at the show. Bill Suhhlan, who worked as an interpreter during the Vietnam War: “Watching this movie, memories of the Vietnam War returned to my mind. This is a true story, a true diary that anyone who has experienced the war can understand the losses and sacrifices.”
