The Youth Publishing House opened its year-end book festival at the HCM City Exhibition House, 92 Le Thanh Ton, District 1 last weekend.

The festival introduced over 3,000 book titles, totaling 100,000 copies, which are discounted between 15-60 percent. Many newly-published books and best-sellers are introduced and sold at the exhibition.

At the same time, the “Week for Medical Books of the Elsevier Publishing House” is organized until December 11 at the Xuan Thu Bookstore, 185 Dong Khoi, District 1.

The event showcases nearly 1,000 medical book titles, with a discount of 10 percent. Among them are books by famous authors like Lionel H Opie, Catherine Otto and Peter Libby.

Established in 1880, the Elsevier Publishing House is one of the largest publishers of medical and health books in the world.

The Phuong Nam Cultural Company has announced plans to organize its largest exhibition at the HCM City Exhibition House at 92 Le Thanh Ton, District 1 from December 12-18, introducing Christmas gifts and best-seller books at a discount rates of up to 80 percent.
