Thirty designs by David Minh Duc will be introduced at capitals of fashion – Milan in Italy and Madrid of Spain next week.

David Minh Duc, supermodel Thuy Hanh and models of the EVE Group will leave Vietnam for Europe today, October 12, to prepare for fashion shows on Vietnamese Day in Italy and Spain in mid-December. The event is co-organised by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Vietnamese Embassy in Italy and the Vietnamese Embassy in Spain.

It’s hoped David Minh Duc’s collection of ao dai will help Italian and Spanish people gain an insight into Vietnamese women’s traditional costume from the past to present, with ao dai for rural girls, for schoolgirls, for parties and for weddings.

The 30 ao dais introduced in Europe this time are among the 1,000 ao dais prepared for the 1000^th great anniversary of Thang Long – Hanoi next year.
