Runway is Ho Chi Minh City’s mecca for designer wear from all over the world. “We have 41 brands from fashion Meccas such as Paris and New York, as well as interior décor products,” said Pham Tien Thanh, marketing executive at Runway.

From classic to modern, urban to equestrian, Runway has a staggering range of designer wear to offer the discerning shopper.

While the modern businesswoman might choose the clean lines and comfort offered by Lanvin, a weekend out in the city might call for the French “equestrienne chic” of Céline. Another highlight is the Yves Saint Laurent and Jin Sander fashion collection.

“I do not need to fly to Paris to shop anymore. As HCMC becomes more and more international, tourists, expats and locals can buy international designer clothes right here,” said Nguyen Thanh, a businesswoman, as she tried on a Céline dress.

“Given the fact there aren’t many designers for men in HCMC, I find this one very helpful when I’m shopping for men. I picked up some Brioni shirts for my husband here,” added Nguyen Thanh.

In celebration of its first anniversary, twelve designer collections, from Lanvin to Yves Saint Laurent will sashay down the runway in a fashion show organized by Global Link, the owner of Runway, on April 21 at Vincom Center, 70-72 Le Thanh Ton Street, District 1, HCMC.
