Hundreds of people on Sunday flocked to the Metropole convention center in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 3 to attend the auditioning round of reality show Vietnam’s Got Talent.

The show, which is in its second year, has seen a variety of talents including singing, kungfu performance, musical performance, sand painting, and circus performance.

The organizers have informed that this year’s show welcomes contestants at all ages. The youngest is 6 and the oldest is 74.

The round has started its nationwide tour in Hanoi on September and will end in HCMC in over three days from October 14-16. Artist Thanh Loc and former model Thuy Hanh will continue to be this season's judges while Thanh Bach is to replace Chi Bao and Quyen Linh as the show's anchor.

The first season, which concluded in May, proved to be a big hit, getting the highest rating for reality shows on Vietnamese TV in the last three years. 12-year-old Nguyen Dang quan and 7-year-old Tran Bao Ngoc  won the first prize for their talents in dancing.
