The squad was formed to prepare for the “Football – Music Exchanges between Vietnamese and South Korean Artists” program that will kick off on November 30 as part of the events to mark the 20th anniversary of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

“The event is also held to raise funds for Orange Agent victims,” the team representative said at the debut ceremony at the New World hotel on Wednesday.

Phuong Thanh is the only female player on the squad that includes showbiz stars such as singers Ly Hai (captain), Akira Phan, Ong Cao Thang, Van Quang Long, and Pham Anh Khoa; actors Nhat Cuong, Tan Beo, Thai Hoa, and Hieu Hien; and models Huy Khanh and Ho Duc Vinh.

The match between the team and the South Korean Artist Club is scheduled to take place on December 1 at Quan Khu 7 Stadium.

The Korean team also includes renowned names such as actors Lee Jong Won, Yoon Young Hyun, Kim Jun Kyun, and Kim Myung Deuk; singers J Huyn, and Yi Byong Chol; and models Park Jang Kool, and Kim Mun Chan, among others.

The HCMC team will also participate in several other matches for fundraising.
