Central Vietnam’s first luxury train cars open

| Central Vietnam’s first luxury train cars went into operation at the Hue city train station Saturday. |
The four cars carry travelers between Hanoi, Hue and Da Nang. Each 24-bed car has six cabins equipped with modern hotel conveniences. Huong Giang Tourist Company and TULICO Co. are selling one-way tickets from Hanoi to Da Nang – with a stop in Hue – for VND700,000 (US$42) each. A Huong Giang Tourist representative said the company may aim to open a full luxury train if the new cabins are successful. Reported by Nguyen Phu Ha |
