VietNamNet Bridge – The first flight from Hanoi to the Mekong Delta City of Can Tho by Vietnam Airlines will be conducted on January 4, 2009.

As of January 4, Vietnam Airlines will offer flights from Hanoi to Can Tho and vice versa with seven flights per week. The firm announced to slash airfare for this route by 50% within 12 days, till January 15, 2009. Accordingly, the lowest airfare will be VND750,000 ($44).

Jetstar Pacific recently announced to launch its Hanoi – Can Tho route with four flights per week. The first flight is scheduled on January 3, 2009.
