Lookatvietnam - In response to high demand during the Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday, Vietnam Railway Corporation has decided to add 8 more departures to the trans-national route, raising the total number to 13 departures per day from each terminus.

According to Phung Thi Ly Ha, deputy head of the Hanoi Railway Station, there will be a large number of people moving from Ho Chi Minh City and southern provinces to the northern region before Lunar New Year’s Eve. And trains returning to southern provinces will be crowded after Tet celebrations.

A sufficient number of tickets will be available for passengers to buy at any stations shortly before the train departs.
