Hanoiâs imperial palace opens to visitors

The capital opens its imperial palace for the first time this year, starting January 29 to February 9 (January 4 to 15 according to the Lunar calendar). | |||||||
| According to a report in Ha Noi Moi newspaper, the imperial palace and the Museum of Ethnology are also organizing an exhibition showcasing nearly 500 special stones from different parts of Vietnam and a copy of an imperial bronze drum from the palace and other objects. Artifacts from the former Ha Tay Province will also be on display. Other activities at the palace include a festival of traditional martial arts and a bronze drum making ceremony.
