Phu Yen province will invest VND39 billion ($2.29 million) this year to carry out 11 projects getting ready for activities of the 400th founding anniversary of the province (1611 – 2011) and the national tourism year to be organised in Phu Yen in 2011.

Lookatvietnam - Phu Yen province will invest VND 39 billion this year to carry out 11 projects getting ready for activities of the 400th founding anniversary of the province (1611 – 2011) and the national tourism year to be organised in Phu Yen in 2011.

Accordingly, the provincial Department for Culture, Sports and Tourism will be an investor of seven projects, including:

The tourism infrastructure of the route from the north of An Hai bridge to the Ganh Da Dia national beauty spot; the upgrading of the road from the national highway 1A to Ganh Da Dia; the construction of the province’s museum; the repair of the historical relic site ‘Ship Without Number’;

The construction of the memorial house of late lawyer Nguyen Huu Tho in Tuy Hoa city; the upgrading of the historical relic site where the first Party cell of the Communist Party of Vietnam in Phu Yen (Dong Xuan district) was established.

The provincial cities and districts will implement four projects, including:

The lighting and green tree system along the Bang Dang road and the Nhan mountain and the Van Kiep parks; the embellishment of the relic site of the house of worship of late President Ho and the resistance war base areas in Son Dinh and Son Long communes, Son Hoa district;

The construction of the lake tourism site at the centre of Hai Rieng town and the restoration and the repair of the relic site of the tomb and temple to Luong Van Chanh in Hoa Tri commune, Phu Hoa district.
