Ha Long to open beach carnival

Get set to enjoy an eight-day carnival at the World Natural Heritage site of Ha Long Bay planned for Saturday, April 25. | |||||||
| Festivities for the opening ceremony will be held on the beach and on the sea beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Bai Chay Ferry Dock. There will be a range of business, cultural and sports events aimed to attract tourists to Quang Ninh during the carnival as part of Ha Long Tourism Week 2009. An art performance with fireworks called âNight of the Shining Heritageâ will wind up the week on closing night, Saturday, May 2. Reported by Hong Ha | |||||||
