Similarly, tours from HCMC to the central region’s world heritage sites (Hoi An Ancient Town, My Son Historical Relic, Hue Ancient Citadel, and Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park) along with the Truong Son Trail, lasting three to five days, will now cost about VND2.7-4 million ($155-230).

Three to five day tours of the northern region, covering Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, Tuan Chau, Yen Tu, Huong Pagoda, Ninh Binh and Sa Pa will cost about VND4-6 million ($230-345).

On the tours of the central and northern regions, customers will travel by air on some sections. Fiditour will give them a discount of VND1.6-3 million ($92-172) per tour because Vietnam Airlines has committed to cutting air tickets for the company’s clients until September. This helps customers save 32-40 percent of the price.

All the prices include travel, accommodation and cooking.

For its outbound tours Fiditour will cut prices by $30-200 because foreign airlines have reduced airfares and taxes to attract tourists. A six-day tour of Thailand is priced at only $170. A seven-day tour of Japan or Japan-South Korea in April costs about $2,300, and a four-day tour of Beijing is just $380.

Fiditour’s discounts do not apply to tours taken on public holidays.

The company will also give its customers gifts for a month beginning March 25, in particular birthday presents for those born between March 25 and May 25.
