LookAtVietnam – The 2009 VITAR-Summer Tennis Championship opened at the National Tennis Centre of the Russian Tennis Federation on May 30.

This was the second time the event was organised by the Vietnamese Tennis Federation in Russia over the year, drawing the participation of 60 athletes from Vietnam’s representative offices and the Vietnamese overseas community in Russia.

The tournament aimed at promoting the playing of tennis in the Vietnamese community in Russia, will give players a good chance to learn from one another.

The 2009 VITAR-Summer Tennis Championship will close on June 7.
