Vietnam joins tender for hosting int’l tourism exhibition

Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan gave his permission to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to tender for organising this event in Vietnam in 2011. If Vietnam wins the contract, it will raise capital from businesses, organisations and individuals to hold the exhibition.
The International Destination Expo was held in the Czech Republic in 2006, South Korea in 2007, France in 2008, South Africa in 2009 and will be in Turkey in 2010.
The exhibition includes seminars about tourism destinations, a tourism exhibition and meetings and forums for travel agents.
