Four Vietnamese hotels have been listed among the top 500 in the world by the US Travel + Leisure magazine.

Caravelle and Park Hyatt Saigon in Ho Chi Minh City, and Hilton Opera and Sofitel Legend Metropole in Hanoi were named in the listing published in the magazine’s January, 2011 edition.

The ninth annual compendium collected votes from 973,000 readers for their favourite hotels around the world. T+L listings are among the most prestigious in the tourism industry.

Laos, Indonesia and Malaysia have one hotel each on the list, Japan has two while Cambodia has three.
