VietNamNet Bridge – A Russian passenger on a HCM City-Moscow flight of Vietnam Airlines was injured on his leg while getting into the arrival terminal.

The spokesperson of Vietnam Airlines Le Hoang Dung said this morning, January 25, that due to the blast at Domodedovo Airport in Moscow, a Vietnam Airlines flight from Moscow to HCM City took off 28 minutes later than scheduled. The flight arrived at the Tan Son Nhat Airport in HCM City at around 9.30 am.

All passengers, assets and aircrafts of Vietnam Airlines at the Domodedevo Airports are safe, except for a Russian passenger who got a mild injury on his leg. The passenger was brought to hospital and no more detailed information about him has been disclosed.

The powerful explosion in the luggage claim section of Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport on January 24 killed 35 and injured 152 people.

Investigators at the scene estimate the blast was caused by 10 kilos TNT and believe it was the work of terrorists planting a bomb in a bag or detonating an explosive vest.
