Some 90 more flights using ATR 72 aircraft will be available from January 27 – Feb 1 and February 4 -14.

 

The national flag carrier will add 24 flights to the HCMC-Hue city route and 18 flights to HCMC – Ca Mau route.

 

It will also operate 16 additional flights from HCMC to Chu Lai and 13 for the HCMC- Quy Nhon route.

 

To cope with the expected rush during Tet, Vietnam Airlines will change its check-in location for Hanoi- HCMC night flights taking off from 22PM- 1AM at Hanoi’s Noi Bai Airport February 6 - 20.

 

Passengers will be checked in on the first floor instead of second floor as usual.

 

The carrier also confirmed there were many seats available for business class passengers boarding flights from HCMC to Hanoi and Danang until February 2, or more than a week before Tet and after that from February 6 – 13.

Meanwhile, domestic low-cost airline Jetstar Pacific starts offering cheap prices for flights departing from April 5 to May 5 starting today 14PM-17PM.

 

Tickets from HCMC-Danang and Hanoi will cost from VND230,000 (US$15).

 

The tickets will be sold on the Internet at www.jetstar.com using credit cards.
