New airport in central Vietnam to cost over $133 mil

The Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam (CAAV) announced Saturday the commisioning of a new airport project in Thanh Hoa Province. Â The VND2.6 trillion (US$133.36 million) airport will provide aerial taxi, tourism, health, and humanity relief services among others in the first stage of the project - from now until 2020. Â After 2020, the airport, to be built 30 kilometers south of Thanh Hoa Town, will be upgraded to serve frequent flights. Â Reported by Ngoc Minh |
