800 representatives from Vietnam travel agency, hotels, and many other agencies such as Police, Military, Universities,... in Phu Yen voted for Hạ Long Bay to become one of the new seven wonders of nature on 12/10/2011.

It is only about one month to go until the announcement of the New Seven Wonders of the world and thus will be an important time for Viet Nam to strive for this honourable title.

On 12 Oct  2011, VNAT has collaborated with the Department of Phu Yen MOCST launching ceremony of  voting Ha Long Bay to be one of the seven natural wonders of the world in a new campaign in Dien Hong Culture House, Tuy Hoa city, Phu Yen province with participanting of over 800 representatives from  hotels, travel agencies, resorts, amusement parks, Provincial Police, the provincial military commander, students of the Universities ..

In the ceremony, representatives voted for Halong Bay through internet or sent message “halong”  or 'hl" from their cell phones to 147 to vote for Ha Long Bay.
