Festival at Thay Thim Palace.

In the upcoming time, several cultural and tourist events such as: Nghinh Ong festival, Binh Thuan Tourism Day anniversary, Kate festivals, Mid-Autumn festival, festival at Thay Thim Palace, winter vacations of European tourists, etc.. will take place and definitely attract a great number of visitors coming to our province. As a result, this brings a vibrant atmosphere and high income for the locality, simultaneously; the image of the homeland can be broadcasted throughout the country, thus, have effects in response to the provincial tourism sector. 

Besides the efforts of the government, the functional agencies along with the policies on basement investment, tourists attracting, Binh Thuan people have also play no small role in contributing to the success of local tourism. Binh Thuan people are well known for their gentleness and hospitality for many years. In reality, visitors have the same feeling when they come here.

In order to create tourist trade name for the local province, many people who are hotel, resort, restaurants and shop keepers (seacooking specialty shops, souvenir shops) took interest and were aware of this. Because this is not only preserve the public but they also keep for their own benefits and brand name. If there is any feeling of offence from clients, their business may be disreputable and badly affected.

It is expected that until this year end, there will be millions of turns of visitors coming to Binh Thuan including many foreigners. Therefore, it’s necessary to give prominence to keeping the beauty of cultural tourism so as to make strong impression on visitors. In fact, we have done and preserved these things so well for years, but, if we do not carefully preserve, a pity phenomenon of “a fly in the ointment” may occur. As a result, the authorities at all levels, the organizers should constantly create abundant tourism products, attract the attention of visitors, and ensure security and public order, environmental sanitation, food safety; the owners of resorts, hotels, motels, restaurants, souvenir and specialty shops… must also ensure the price and ways of service, products quality, how to satisfy visitors in accommodation, sightseeing, shopping at the locality. Especially, the awareness of preserving the image of the motherland of the whole people in Binh Thuan in general and in Phan Thiet city in particular need to be raised more by means of being friendly, open-minded and dedicated to tourists, keeping environmental hygiene and avoiding offensive behaviors… so that we can create the impression to be kept in the tourists’ mind after leaving here.
