Five nations are expected to converge on Vietnam to compete in events such as football, volleyball, wooden balls, handball, basketball, swimming and wrestling. Phan Thiet will host wind surfing, yachting and dragon boat racing (which is co-hosted by Khanh Hoa Province and Danang City).

According to the organizer, each event will take place over ten days in June 2016 at Mui Ne back beach next to the Muine Bay Resort, Long Son-Suoi Nuoc beach (near the Full Moon Village Resort) and Doi Duong-Thuong Chanh beach (opposite the Park Diamond Hotel).

Furthermore, a village for athletes and organizing committee members will be set up at The Cliff Resort. There’s a meeting today in Nha Trang City where representatives from Khanh Hoa, Danang and Binh Thuan provinces will discuss preparations for the Games.
