On March 27, the management of Son Tra Peninsula and beaches in Da nang said that on the occasion of the 38^th anniversary of the city liberation, the sea tourism season Da Nang 2013 will be opened on the morning of March 29 at Bien Dong Park with hundreds of local people, visitors, students, artists, and businesses attending.

During three days, there will be many tourism information stands, souvenir stands, cuisine stands, and art activities like calligraphy, two music performances, the second painting competition with the topic “Da Nang – our hometown” and releasing pigeons to celebrate the 38^th anniversary of Da Nang liberation.

My Khe beach will be a place to open sea services businesses, freshwater bathrooms,…and to perform water sports and to hold the swimming competition. Meanwhile, Son Tra Peninsula will be a place to open the café in Nha Vong Canh, and tours of diving to see coral reefs or going fishing with fishmen, as well as exploring Son Tra Peninsula by land, tour of paint shooting in Truong Mai…

According to Mr Phan Minh Hai, deputy manager of Son Tra Peninsula and beaches in Da Nang, the opening of sea tourism season Da Nang 2013 aims to launch tourism services in beaches and to introduce programmes, activities and new services to local people and visitors.

Through this programme, the management of Son Tra Peninsula and beaches in Da Nang also promotes the propaganda of protecting environment in Son Tra Peninsula and other beaches. Simultaneously, the management also aims to maintain, develop and turn this programme into an annual event serving for promoting tourism in Son Tra Peninsula and other beaches in Da Nang.
