High-speed boat Greenlines DP C5 carrying a group of 50 tourists docked at Con Co island on April 8. The tour includes sightseeing to relics, primeval forests and recreational activities on the island.

Speaking at a welcome ceremony,  Mai Thuc, vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee asked Con Co island district’s authority to coordinate with relevant agencies and sectors to ensure safety of the tour. He stressed that the district needs to increase investment in infrastructure development, enabling it to meet visitors’ demand, thus promoting tourism development of the province and the district in particular.

As scheduled, the route will be piloted for two weeks with a boat trip a day and visitors will enjoy ticket at zero price during the period.
