Vietnam Buddhist group holds celebration in Moscow

| The Vietnam Buddhist Sangha Central Committee held a grand ceremony to celebrate Buddhaâs 2,553rd birthday at the Vietnamese Embassy in Moscow on Sunday. |
| Chairman Most Venerable Thich Gia Quang is leading a delegation of the Buddhist committee on a tour to spread Dharma in Eastern Europe. Bui Dinh Dinh, Vietnamese ambassador to Russia, said the Dharma propagation delegationâs visit helps improve the spiritual life of the Vietnamese community in Russia and boost solidarity among the community. According to the monk, Russia is the last leg of the delegationâs tour. Previously the group had visited the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Germany and Ukraine. Source: VNA |
