VietNamNet Bridge – Two famous international DJs and a well-known Vietnamese DJ will heat up the count-down party to welcome New Year 2011 at the square in front of the Hanoi Opera House on December 31.

The three DJs will perform on a 6m high round stage , which can be seen clearly from six roads running to the square.

The two international DJs are Jonathan Glaser from Sweden and Tempo from the US.

Glaser is famous for being able to “read” the minds of the audience and make them frenetic for 4-5 hours.Â

Tempo is not only a DJ but also a composer, a singer, an actor and a music producer. He is a rising star of the progressive trance music genre. He has performed with many famous American singers like Donald Gluade, Thomas Gold, Crystal Method, Felguk, Christopher Lawrence, LA Riots, etc.

In 2008, Tempo and Speaker Junkies band made a world tour. They also joined the Hennessy Artistry concert, which is very popular to Asian and Vietnamese audience.

Tuan Kruise, a student from the Hanoi Construction University, is called the “Magician of Sounds”. He is a member of Mobile DJ group.

The show will have the presence of diva My Linh and songwriter Nguyen Duc Cuong.

The countdown party - a New Year welcome event of New York City – has become a global event. This is the first time it will be held in Hanoi.
