VietNamNet Bridge – “Party Secretary”, the TV series about the life of Mr. Kim Ngoc, who initiated the movement to give land to farmer families in the northern province of Vinh Phuc in the 1960s, 1970s, won three awards at the TV Film Awards 2010 in Hanoi on February 27.

Last year, the Vietnam Television screened over 700 episodes of television films, totaling over 600 hours. Over 12,000 members of the audience / watchers / series followers voted for three TV series “Cuong Phong” (Tornado), “Bi Thu Tinh Uy” (Party Secretary) and “Blog Nang Dau” (Daughter-in-law’s blog).

Finally, 50-episode “Party Secretary” won the Most Favourite TV Series. Actor Dung Nhi who played Party Secretary Kim Ngoc took the Best Actor. Writer Van Thao won the Best Scriptwriter Award for this movie.

“Tornado”, the 41-episode series about criminal police, won the Best Actress Award for Minh Hoa.

“Daughter-in-law’s blog” didn’t receive any award.
