Hanoi police against violators of helmet rules

At 7 am of February 11, Hanoi police launched a campaign to punish people who don’t wear helmets while riding motorbikes. The campaign involves transport police officers as well as other police forces, to raise public awareness of traffic rules and safety. At the Dai Co Viet – Gia Phong intersection, all motorbike riders who don’t wear helmets are fined. According to police officers who guard the intersection, after the campaign was launched, the number of those who broke the rule has reduced.
However, some young people ran away when police officers stopped them.
This guy even sped up to hit police officers.
Violators who bring ID card and vehicle registration certificates can pay their fines and leave.
Those who don’t have the necessary documents will have their vehicles seized by the police.
Many young people who ride on expensive scooters don’t like wearing helmets.
Some women don’t wear helmets because they are afraid that helmets can ruin their hairstyles.
