Vietnam Idol 2010 Uyen Linh and senior pop star Thanh Lam were nominated for
the Dedication Award 2010, in addition to three male singers Tung Duong, Duc
Tuan and Ha Anh Tuan.

The Dedication Award is granted to honor the efforts of
artists in a year to contribute to the development of music in Vietnam.
VietNamNet’s “Everlasting Thing” concert is also nominated for the “Show of the
Year” Award.

Uyen Linh is a new name that appeared at the Vietnam Idol
2010 competition in late 2010. This girl is considered a “phenomenon” of 2010.
Without being trained, Uyen Linh’s voice has won the hearts of millions of
people through songs like “Duong Cong” (Curve), “Take Me To The River”, “Sao
Chang Ve Voi Em” (Why Don’t You Come With Me), “Voi Anh” (With You) and “Cam On
Tinh Yeu” (Thanks Love). This success has brought the young singer to the
nomination list of the Dedication Award 2010 alongside senior names.

Apart from Uyen Linh, some young artists are nominated this
time, including Nguyen Hai Phong and Le Cat Trong Ly in the Songwriter of the
Year category.

Nearly 100 art and culture journalists will vote to choose
the winners. The 6^th award ceremony will take place in HCM City
in early April.
