Hanoi’s artists will perform in “Japan – the Sharing” show tonight, March 30, to raise fund for Japanese victims of quakes and tsunamis.

VietNamNet Newspaper and the Hanoi Young Artist Association will be the bridge to transfer artists’ hearts to the audience and Japan.

The show will have the presence of famous artists in Hanoi, including comedians Chi Trung, Ngoc Huyen, Xuan Bac, Tu Long, Van Dung, Quang Thang, Cong Ly, who will perform some popular comedies, and singers Ngoc Anh, Hoang Hai, Tuan Hieup, Dinh Manh Ninh, My Dung.

“Artists’ hearts are not enough. We need the sharing of the audience. Vietnamese are charitable. More now than ever, we need to hold hands together to support our neighboring friends who are in a difficult time,” said comedian Tu Long.

Singer Ngoc Anh said she always keeps an eye on the news about Japan. “I can’t hold back my tears when I see children or the elderly who lost their home and their families,” she said.

All artists will perform for free. The entire revenue from the show will be added up with the revenue from VietNamNet’s concert on March 31 to transfer to the Japanese Embassy.

The show will be held at the Hanoi Cultural Friendship Palace, 91 Tran Hung Dao, Hanoi. Ticket price is VND500,000.
