Using black as the major color, well-known fashion designer Duc Hung introduced his latest collection at the opening ceremony of the Vietnam Fashion Week on April 14 at Model Club, 6 Dong Khoi Street, District 1, HCM City.

The collection is named “Voice of Night”, including Hung’s latest designs of evening gowns and reformed ao dai.

“Voice of Night” was performed by famous models like Phung Ngoc Yen, Thai Ha, Thanh Thu, along with other models from Venus Modeling Company.

The opening ceremony of the Vietnam Fashion Week, entitled “I’m A Designer”, had the presence of other designers like Vo Viet Chung and Hoang Hai.

The fashion week will feature the latest collections of nine designers; including Vo Viet Chung, Hoang Hai, Duc Hung, Kelly Bui, Chung Thanh Phong, Duy Quan, Van Thanh Cong, Duc Duy and Minh Tu from April 14-20.

More than 100 leading models such as Binh Minh, Anh Thu, Vu Thu Phuong, Ngoc Quyen, Ha Vy, Ho Duc Vinh, Duong My Linh, Vu Hoang Diep, Kim Minh, Kim Dung, Thanh Thuc and Trung Cuong will take part in the event.

The fashion week honors insiders who have made outstanding contributions to the Vietnamese fashion industry.
