VietNamNet Bridge – Thousands of students enjoyed a colorful fashion feast with 20 best collections in the finale of the “Hutech Designer” fashion design competition in HCM City, on April 23.

Organized by the HCM City University for Technology (Hutech), for Vietnamese students to show their passion and talent. The competition attracted over 400 students and the top 20 collections were selected for the final show.

With the theme “Green Planet”, most of submissions were inspired by the nature like the ocean, trees, leaves, etc.

The first prize worth US$1,500 went to Vo Thi Thu Nguyet from Hutech University, with the collection “Green Message”.

The second and third prizes were presented to “Whirlwind” collection by Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao (Hutech), and “Soul of the Sea”, by Truong Thi Kim Quy from the Industry University.

Miss Vietnam World 2010 Diem Huong presented the first prize to Vo Thi Thu Nguyet.
