More bottled drinking water found with bacteria

Three more samples of bottled drinking water have failed health tests, the Ho Chi Minh City Health Departmentâs inspection bureau said Monday. | |||||||
| Aquaphar five-liter bottles produced on January 3, 2009 by Tam Dang Pharmaceutical and Trading Company were found containing pseudomonas aeruginosa, a bacterium that can cause respiratory and blood diseases. Bottles of Golf brand water produced by Tan Tan Duc Manufacture and Trading Co. were also discovered with the same bacteria. The company had twice ignored instructions to cease production on February 17 and March 2. Dowaco bottled drinking water made by Dong Xuan Manufacture and Trading Co. in District 12 was found contaminated with Coliform bacteria. Reported by Thanh Tung | |||||||
