The woman, from HCMC’s neighboring province of Long An’s Vinh Hung District, was admitted to the hospital in critical condition with heavy blood loss, according to the hospital.

The woman’s condition was so serious that doctors were forced to operate on her in the hospital’s initial assessment area, outside of a standard surgical room.
